I. Product Overview
-
The hammer unions produced by our company are primarily used in cementing, fracturing, acidizing, testing, plugging, well control lines, high-pressure manifolds, and vehicle-mounted systems. They are essential fittings for connecting various operational pipelines during downhole operations. Key features include flexible operation and high-pressure resistance.

Our company designs and manufactures high-pressure wing unions, including threaded unions and welded unions, with sizes ranging from 1" to 5". The cold working pressure (CWP) ranges from 7 MPa to 140 MPa (1,000 psi to 20,000 psi).

The high-pressure unions are clearly marked with the connection thread type and pressure rating.
-
The H2S service hammer unions (sour gas service) are suitable for use in various acidic working environments and are typically grass green in color.

Our products have obtained API 6A and API 16C certifications. The H2S service unions are manufactured according to the NACE MR0175 standard.
II. Design Features
-
The wing hammer unions are machined with precise spherical and 90 ∘ conical surfaces using precision machine tools, ensuring good product strength and high-pressure bearing capacity.

The LP (Line Pipe) and TBG (Tubing) threads are processed by CNC machines and imported cutting tools, resulting in high precision and strong sealing capability, providing a reliable guarantee for high-pressure sealing.

The sealing rings are molded from imported rubber material. When mated with the sub, the sealing ring not only ensures excellent sealing performance but also prevents corrosion at the joint, thereby extending the product life.

Wing hammer unions intended for sour service environments are designed and manufactured in strict accordance with the NACE MR0175 standard.

The connection point of the wing union uses ACME threads, allowing for quick tightening and loosening without special tools, and featuring a self-locking mechanism. The products are internationally compatible and interchangeable.
III. Instructions for Use
-
First, inspect the threads of the union. If the internal or external threads are fractured or cross-threaded, the union should be replaced.

Inspect and properly install the rubber sealing ring.

Clean the union with a steel brush and apply sealing grease to the threads before connecting it to the tubing or swage nipple. Tighten it with a pipe wrench, and then securely hammer it tight or use the pipe wrench to fully tighten it.
IV. Precautions
-
When hammering the union, take care to prevent damage to the threads.

After use, the union should be cleaned promptly and placed on the workbench.
